Well, here I am in France. Phenomenal. I found out when I got here that there was no room left in the dorm we were supposed to be staying in, so we are in another student house about 20 minutes away by metro a couple blocks from le Sorbonne. So... the address and telephone number I gave you all is now incorrect. We are in this house until the 1st of October, and then they will see where tp put us. I don't mind being in this house, because it's in the Latin Quarter, and theres SO MUCH to do and see everywhere around us.

Speaking french is difficult at times, but I'm getting used to it. When you try to speak french to most store clerks, etc, they all switch to english, which is kind of frustrating b/c I am trying to improve. funny things occur b/c of language barriers though. Like, 2 days ago when I got here i needed to buy an alarm clock, but I couldn't remember what they were called, so I went around asking the clerks where was "a clock to wake one up in the morning." They got the basic idea. Also, yesterday my roommate Ashley needed money exchanged, and the french words for "twenty" and "wine" are very similar, so when she asked for a twenty with the stress on the wrong vowel, the man laughed at her and asked if she was sure several times. She just kept saying yes, and he said ok hesitantly. Then when the next person went up he asked them if she wanted a drink also.

Well, I should get going. Email me, you all know how. Talk to you soon.

Advance apology for the song lyric mood lately

Well I left my happy home to see what I could find out
I left my folk and friends with the aim to clear my mind out
Well I hit the rowdy road and many kinds I met there
Many stories told me of the way to get there
So on and on I go, the seconds tick the time out
There's so much left to know, and I'm on the road to find out
Well in the end I'll know, but on the way I wonder
Through descending snow, and through the frost and thunder
I listen to the wind come howl, telling me I have to hurry
I listen to the robin's song saying not to worry
So on and on I go, the seconds tick the time out
There's so much left to know, and I'm on the road to find out
Then I found myself alone, hopin' someone would miss me
Thinking about my home, and the last person to kiss me
But sometimes you have to moan when nothing seems to suit ya
But nevertheless you know you're locked towards the future
So on and on you go, the seconds tick the time out
There's so much left to know, and I'm on the road to findout
Then I found my head one day when I wasn't even trying
And here I have to say, 'cause there is no use in lying,
Yes the answer lies within, so why not take a look now?
Kick out the devil's sin, pick up, pick up a good book now
