Come back from San Francisco, it can't be all that pretty, when all of New York City misses you. You need me like the wind needs the trees to blow in, like the moon needs poetry, you need me.

All right, all the crises seem to be over. But then again, you never know when aliens dripping with chocolate syrup are going to show up in your house and demand you give them a handwritten 30 page list of the reasons they should not kill you. Aliens aside, things are calmer.

Going to get my loan today. Big money, big expenses. I figure I'll only have this chance once in a lifetime, so I may as well live it up. I met some friends of my parents the other day whose other friends own a flat in London and I have a good chance of staying there. I'm definitely going to take them up on that offer. I guess the guys who own it have big money and work for some researching firm making the big decisions like what color Kool-Aid packages should be. They own the flat for fun and something to do with their money. Hey baby.... the tarot cards DID say I would find a job that would lead directly into money and that new friends would introduce me to the job and I wasn't coming back. Hmmm... anyone else smell possibility in the air? I really do think I will come back and finish school, but after that, who knows? I could handle living in Europe for the rest of my life.

I've been in a bit of a funk lately, so if you think you can help, let me know.

I know, I know. I promised a thrilling tale here about cars flipping and last minute romantic yet worrisome reunions and emergency room visits and my dad wrecking the car on the way to the first accident site. Well, I'm tired from all that now, so maybe tomorrow.

But... amidst all this craziness was a random trip to Twede's Cafe from Twin Peaks where I ordered a "slice of cherry pie and a damn fine cup o' Joe." I looked for the free-swinging traffic light, but it was nowhere to be seen.
